Make it Possible for Children to Change the Course of their Lives

In addition to grants from public and private agencies and fees from Departments of Social Services, Under One Sky depends on individual donations from communities across the country who believe that every child deserves a family.

Sponsor a Child

Please consider making a contribution in the amount of $2,400 toward sponsoring one child for an entire year of programming including the following:
  • Self-Discovery Residential Camp Program four times a year (17 days)
  • Youth-Directed, Child-Specific Adoption Recruitment Program—Village Adoption Connection events, personal videos and mini-magazines, individual adoption recruitment plans
  • Social Work and Therapeutic Services
  • Mentoring Program
  • Special Events/Activities—participation at regional and statewide conferences, producing a musical CD

Contribute to Programming

Our dynamic experiential programming helps youth rediscover their gifts and talents. Your donation makes it possible to provide the following for our youth:
  • Self-discovery workshops—carpentry, writing, acting, music, life and work skills
  • Sky Café workshop—helps youth discover if the restaurant profession is for them
  • Mini-economy program—teaches money management
  • Building and art supplies
  • Musical instruments, production of CDs
  • Travel expenses for youth to attend conferences
  • Special youth outings and field trips
  • Seed money for developing cottage industries
  • Christmas gifts
  • Staff development and training for adult mentors
  • Newsletters and website pages
