Volunteering

Programs are held throughout the year, and we invite members of the greater community to volunteer. You will find that giving your time and energy to support the youth in Under One Sky is rewarding and habit forming!

We need volunteers for the following:
  • Teach workshops for five to seven youth during our weekend and/or weeklong camps. Workshops can be a specialty of yours, such as small engine repair, gardening, dance, writing, bookmaking, etc.
  • Serve as volunteer camp staff members (requires an application process, orientation, and training)
  • Assist with setting up our Village Adoption Connection events
  • Help spread the word about youth who need adoptive families (volunteer recruiter)
  • Chaperone youth, along with full-time staff, to conferences and events
  • Assist with community building projects
  • Help with other projects as they arise

We require that all volunteers go through an application process and background check prior to volunteering.
